Poetry- Honey by Aaryana Sharma

Golden strands

In an amber syrup

Fall into a cup of warm white milk

And a spoon stirs the milk in with the silk

And then a pinch of saffron

Dyes the cup a dull, beautiful red

I put the cup to my mouth

And drink

When I finish the sip

There's a milk mustache

Under my nose

I brush it off with my sleeve

Then

My nose takes another dip
