Thank you for considering submitting your work! The Youth Outlook accepts art and writing submissions from youth aged 13-25 on a rolling basis. Submissions from individuals with a marginalized identity are prioritized but all are welcome to submit. We will be sure to credit you for any work we publish on our website. Please note that your submissions will undergo a review process by our editing staff to screen for grammatical errors, ensure factual accuracy in nonfiction works, and prepare pieces for publication. As an entirely student-run platform, our review process may take up to three weeks. We will contact you regarding your work as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience.

We urge you to submit work that relates to current events, social issues, or student activism. By placing a focus on work that targets these areas, we hope to bring your unique voice and perspective into these meaningful and relevant conversations. That said, if your piece(s) is unrelated, we still highly encourage you to submit! We cannot express how much we appreciate your choice to contribute to us, regardless of subject matter.

We do accept simultaneous submissions and unconventional genres (ex. fashion design, dance, scientific research, etc.). Further information is detailed on each Google Form. Make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure we can access your submission.
